>When I installed Fedora 7, and later installed the correct driver for my GeForce 2 video card, I found that these same two lines were checked (allowed?) in Fedora 7. I was able to successfully unchecked line #2 (see Description), but when I unchecked line #1, my video driver no longer functioned. Believing that the bug was in the video driver, I open a bug report with livna.org and have been working with their people on this problem. The documentation for this bug (#1577) is here: http://bugzilla.livna.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1577 > >The last request they presented was for me to try the driver on a different computer. After installing Fedora 7 on a different machine and checking SELinux-Boolean-Memory Protection, I found the above two lines checked (allowed?). The third line with a warning attached: "Allow unconfined executables to make their heap memory executable", was not checked. > >If lines #1 & 2 (in Description) are supposed to be checked, shouldn't the test associated read "disallow" rather than "allow". If the lines are supposed to be unchecked, then the fact that the new install leaves them checked is wrong. If they are supposed to be unchecked, then there is an additional bug in the video driver and I need to continue working with livna.org on that problem also.
