>So, I have three hard disks. The operating systems are in the one that is listed now as "sda", the smallest, reported as having 250 GB. It has 6 partitions (+ extended one). The other two hard disks have one partitions each, one called Buffer, one called Storage. Knowinf this, i proceeded to the blkid checking. And here comes the surprise. sda1 and sdb1 seems to hae same label: > >[root@guzu ~]# blkid >/dev/sda1: LABEL="Storage_only" UUID="ca8b3229-43e9-47df-940b-b6d5e2595142" TYPE="ext4" >/dev/sdb1: LABEL="Storage_only" UUID="cd39370c-a07d-4b8e-a475-134e3d296162" TYPE="ext4" >/dev/sda2: UUID="d5364c56-36fd-4881-9ef4-d4a28e2997cf" TYPE="ext4" >/dev/sda3: UUID="e140237d-fd3c-4b5a-9f7e-6f84b5b5c956" TYPE="swap" >/dev/sda5: LABEL="/home" UUID="fe7a9cfc-7447-456d-9d02-008488ca7abd" SEC_TYPE="ext2" TYPE="ext3" >/dev/sda6: UUID="3f6557f5-c760-4678-a284-46267304d447" UUID_SUB="710c1e13-8539-42f2-9eb7-fc94e83ef3bc" TYPE="btrfs" >/dev/sda7: UUID="18748fc0-abfd-403c-ad5c-1adf27e9d5e8" TYPE="ext4" >/dev/sdc1: LABEL="Buffer" UUID="a530d68f-baa4-4fcd-9f60-3dc0fac93b6f" TYPE="ext4" > >* > >I checked partitions one by one, thinking blkid is confused, showing same label to two different partitions.
