Fixed In Version rubygem-openshift-origin-dns-nsupdate-1.5.3-1.el6op
Brenton Leanhardt 2013-09-16 19:29:30 UTC Doc Text Cause:
The OpenShift Enterprise nsupdate DNS did not previous specify the zone to modify. nsupdate will use various heuristics guess this information but in some environments this will not be possible.

Consequence:

Fix:
Patch rubygem-openshift-origin-dns-nsupdate to set the zone since we already know from the environment configuration.

Result:

Previously the nsupdate DNS did not specify the zone to modify, causing DNS updates to fail. The rubygem-openshift-origin-dns-nsupdate plug-in in the current release of OpenShift Enterprise has been updated, and DNS now updates correctly.
