Consequence: lvmetad would sometimes crash due to heap corruption, especially under heavier concurrent loads (multiple LVM commands executing at once). Fix: The race condition has been fixed by introducing correct locking. Result: lvmetad no longer suffers heap corruption and subsequent crashes. |
