Cheryn Tan 2014-01-09 05:15:42 UTC Doc Text Transient disk support has been added to VDSM. A transient disk is a temporary qcow layer based on a volume that is attached to a virtual machine in read-write mode. All changes stored in the transient disk is lost when the disk is hot-unplugged or when the virtual machine shuts down. Its primary use is to access a disk snapshot (a read-only volume) in read-write mode.
