But glusterd will have details about number of nodes, so it was trying to get info for all node, and fails when not available. Consequence: gluster cli xml output returns null. Fix: Ignore collecting information from a node if it is down, continue collecting info from other nodes. Result: gluster cli xml returns xml output even if a node is down. |

Result: gluster cli xml returns xml output even if a node is down. | Previously when a node went down, glusterFS CLI would fail to retrieve Rebalance status of all nodes on that cluster. With this update, glusterd service collects information from nodes that are available online and ignore the nodes that are offline. As a result, glusterFS CLI returns an XML output even if one or more nodes in a cluster are offline. | ||
