The action to take when such instances identified is determined by the value of the "running_deleted_instance_action" configuration key in the OpenStack Compute (/etc/nova/nova.conf) file. The default value of the "running_deleted_instance_action" configuration key has been changed to "reap". In previous releases the default value of this configuration key was "log". As a result of this change when running instances are discovered that have previously been deleted from the database they are now stopped and removed. | |
