Consequence: In the absence of the above mentioned config line, Samba would consider SMB1 as the default and Max version of protocol that it can support. This leads to all clients using SMB1 version. Fix: Missing config line has now been added back to rhs-samba.conf file. Result: Clients which support SMB2 version can now talk to Samba in that version. |
