Consequence: This situation happens commonly and because of that, the ab did not work with SSL servers properly and printed "SSL read failed" errors.

Fix: This situation is now handled properly.

Result: ab tool does not print errors in this situation and works as expected with HTTPS servers.

The ab utility did not correctly handle situations when SSL connection was closed after some data had already been read. As a consequence, ab did not work correctly with SSL servers and printed "SSL read failed" error messages. With this update, ab works as expected with HTTPS servers.
