| Jan Cholasta | 2016-01-18 06:19:52 UTC | Doc Text | Cause: The IdM Server upgrade version check is flawed and does not detect IdM Server 7.2.z version as the new one. Consequence: Version checker in upgrade script prevents to run upgrade of 7.2.z. This happens only with upgrade from 7.2 to 7.2.z. (Upgrade from 7.0, 7.1 to 7.2.z works.) Workaround (if any): Run upgrade manually with option --skip-version-check # ipa-server-upgrade --skip-version-check Result: Upgrade should finish successfully. |

| The version check during an IdM Server upgrade did not detect Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 7.2.z as a later one. Consequently, it was impossible to upgrade an IdM Server from version 7.2 to 7.2.z. This bug has been fixed, and the upgrade of an IdM Server from version 7.2 to 7.2.z is now successful. |
