Oyvind Albrigtsen 2016-11-04 13:59:19 UTC Doc Text Cause: When you use FQDN in Nova the nova-compute-wait resource agent will complain about "Invalid host name"

Consequence: The nova-compute-wait resource agent fails to start.

Fix: The resource agent looks up the domain name if Nova uses FQDN.

Result: The nova-compute-wait resource agent starts as expected.

Doc Text Cause: When you use FQDN in Nova the nova-compute-wait resource agent will complain about "Invalid host name"

Consequence: The nova-compute-wait resource agent fails to start.

Fix: The resource agent looks up the domain name if Nova uses FQDN.

Result: The nova-compute-wait resource agent starts as expected.
Previously, when a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) was used in Nova, the nova-compute-wait resource agent reported "Invalid host name", and nova-compute-wait failed to start. With this update, the resource agent looks up the domain name if Nova uses FQDN. As a result, nova-compute-wait now starts as expected in the described situation.
