| Doc Text | Feature: support a headless VM (a VM that runs without any graphical console and without any display device) in engine. Reason: till now oVirt engine always added graphical console(s) and video device(s) to a running VM. There wasn't an option in engine to allow running a headless VM, although sometimes is is required . This feature supports running a headless VM from start or after the initial setup (next run after "Run Once"). Result: running a headless VM is now supported in engine from start or after the first run with "Run Once". It can be enabled/disabled for a new/existing VM at any time. This headless mode is also supported for templates, pools and instance types. |
