| Link ID | OpenStack gerrit 400263 | |||
| Doc Text | Cause: The Node Assignment workflow only ever updates the default plan named 'undercloud' with node counts. Consequence: When working with a non-default plan, the nodes assignment done from the UI do not reflect what will actually be deployed. This means that no matter what the user sets, only the default of "one controller, one compute" will ever be deployed using the non-default plan, Workaround (if any): Go to the Deployment Configuration -> Parameters tab for your plan, and manually update the node counts (ControllerCount, ComputeCount, CephStorageCount, etc). Result: The plan will be updated to use these values, and the deployment will include the expected number of nodes for each role for this plan. | |||
