Petr Menšík 2017-05-10 13:28:04 UTC Doc Text Feature: Dnsmasq can change default values of IPv6 Router Advertisement

Reason: It was not possible to change priority of routes advertised by dnsmasq. Dnsmasq can provide Router Advertisement, but does not allow to lower or raise priority of routes. Work as primary or backup router in other words.

Result: ra-param can be used to change default priority and intervals. Check dnsmasq(1) manual page for details.

Dnsmasq now supports the *ra-param* option

With this update, dnsmasq can change the default values of IPv6 Router Advertisement. As a result, the "ra-param" option is used to change the default priorities and time intervals of routes advertised by dnsmasq. See the *dnsmasq(1)* man page for more information.
