The Shared File System service (manila) access-list feature requires Red Hat Ceph Storage (RHCS) 4.1 or later. RHCS 4.0 has a packaging issue that means you cannot use the Shared File System service access-list with RHCS 4.0. You can still use share creation, however, the share is unusable without access-list. Consequently, customers who use RHCS 4.0 cannot use the Shared File System service with CephFS via NFS. For more information, see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1797075.
