| Doc Text | Cause: When an RBD PVC is being thick provisioned, the external provisioner stores the ongoing operation details in in-memory. If the operation is still going on, PVC delete and restart of active rbd provisioner pod result in stale backend rbd image Consequence: When an RBD thick provisioning is going on, deletion of PVC and restart of the active provisioner pod results in the stale rbd images and entries in OMAP. Workaround (if any): Don't Delete the Thick PVC when provisioning is going on. Result: These operations result in stale omap data generated by cephcsi and stale rbd image in the backend. | |||
