| Doc Text | Cause: The CephFS volume client package used by the Shared File System service (manila) to communicate with the Ceph cluser would abort when creating or deleting file systems. Consequence: The aborts caused the manila-share process within the Shared File System service to be restarted, causing shares that were being provisioned (or deleted) to be stuck in "creating" (or "deleting") states. Fix: The CephFS volume client package has now been fixed to not abort on provisioning or deletion requests. Result: The manila-share process no longer restarts during these operations. |
