| Adam King | 2023-04-27 17:28:13 UTC | Doc Text | Feature: Allow specifying an rgw zonegroup in the RGW spec used by the orchestrator Reason: The orchestrator could already handle setting the realm and zone for the RGW, and some users also wanted it to be able to handle the zonegroup Result: RGW specs now accept an "rgw_zonegroup" parameter and cephadm will set that zonegroup as the zonegroup to be used for rgw daemons deployed from the spec. | |

| Akash Raj | 2023-05-18 05:29:11 UTC | Doc Text | Feature: Allow specifying an rgw zonegroup in the RGW spec used by the orchestrator Reason: The orchestrator could already handle setting the realm and zone for the RGW, and some users also wanted it to be able to handle the zonegroup Result: RGW specs now accept an "rgw_zonegroup" parameter and cephadm will set that zonegroup as the zonegroup to be used for rgw daemons deployed from the spec. | .Ceph Object Gateway zonegroup can now be specified in the specification used by the orchestrator Previously, the orchestrator could handle setting the realm and zone for the Ceph Object Gateway. However, setting the zonegroup was not supported. With this release, users can specify a `rgw_zonegroup` parameter in the specification that is used by the orchestrator. Cephadm sets the zonegroup for Ceph Object Gateway daemons deployed from the specification. |
