| Doc Text | Cause: the Ceph mon store has a defualt max size of 64k. Sometimes cephadm would have too much device info to store in that much space causing an entry size error. Consequence: Cephadm would be unable to refresh the hosts and complete most operations until the size limit was raised Fix: Cephadm now splits the device info into multiple entries if there it takes more space than the size limit Result: Users should no longer have to worry about raising the mon store entry size limit if they have hosts with a large number of disks |
