Doc Text Users can now upgrade from RHOSP16.2 to RHOSP17.1 and keep the RHEL8 based Operating Systems on their existing dataplane Compute nodes in combination with nodes running RHEL9.

This feature is only intended for hypervisors running VM workloads and is not applicable for any Control Plane or Storage related nodes in the environment. The default behavior will be to update all nodes to RHEL9 unless explicitly defined.

This enhancement allows users to upgrade from RHOSP 16.2 to RHOSP 17.1 and keep the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8 based operating systems on the compute nodes, in combination with nodes running RHEL 9.

Control plane nodes and Storage nodes must be upgraded. The default behavior is that all nodes are upgraded to RHEL 9 unless explicitly configured otherwise.
