| Doc Text | Cause: Often times during new deployment keystone service is not available at the time when agent-notification service is initializing. Consequence: Due to keystone unavailability Ceilometer cannot discover the gnocchi endpoint and excludes gnocchi publisher, Metrics will no longer be sent to gnocchi. Fix: Once keystone is available, restarting agent-notification service will reload all publishers. Result: Ceilometer will start sending metrics to gnocchi publisher. |
