| Doc Text | Feature: Add a C++ Broker option --log-disable Reason: Logs are sometimes flooded by thousands of log messages that are currently not interesting. The broker option makes it possible to turn off log messages using precise filters. Result (if any): During problen investigation users can get the log files to focus on the issue at hand and to stop publishing large volumes of uninteresting log messages. |

| Jared MORGAN | 2014-09-23 01:53:49 UTC | Doc Text | Feature: Add a C++ Broker option --log-disable Reason: Logs are sometimes flooded by thousands of log messages that are currently not interesting. The broker option makes it possible to turn off log messages using precise filters. Result (if any): During problen investigation users can get the log files to focus on the issue at hand and to stop publishing large volumes of uninteresting log messages. | Logs are sometimes flooded by thousands of log messages that may not be considered important during issue investigation. It is now possible to specify a broker option that turns off log messages using precise filters. During problem investigation, users can control log file content to better understand a specific issue, rather than manually filtering out extraneous log events. The feature is supported in the C++ Broker, by specifying --log-disable. |
