Doc Text iPad and iPhone devices ignore single-tap events
outside of popped-up elements. Popups do not disappear when the user navigates away. The following workarounds are available for listed GWT elements:

Image -> Single tap directly on the image

Date Picker -> Pick a Date

Simple Text Area -> Activate different element on the page

Other ->Navigate to a different page and back
iPad and iPhone devices ignore single-tap events
outside pop-up elements, which subsequently do not disappear when users tap outside the element area.

With the Image element you can work around the issue with a single tap directly on the image. With the Date Picker element, picking a date makes it disappear. With the Simple Text Area you can work around the issue by activating a different element on the page. With all other elements, the workaround is to navigate to a different page and then back.
