| Doc Text | Cause: Package setup reserves the system static user and group ids in range 0-200 for various projects. Some layered products needed static ids since the last setup update. Consequence: As the id usage without reservation in setup is discouraged, some system administrators might get confused about unreserved ids on their system. Fix: Ids for Red Hat layered products were synced with the latest upstream version of reserved ids. Result: System accounts with static ids in layered products have ids reserved in the uidgid file from setup package. |
