XF86Config-4 (this works just fine)
Um, ok, where do I find the log? are you saying the XF86Config-4 you included works fine? Yes, the XF86Config-4 I included works perfectly. The log file is in /var/log/XFree86.0.log Does Xconfigurator work for you after the install? If it doesn't, does editing /usr/X11R6/share/Xconfigurator/MonitorsDB and changing the line for your display from: Dell; Dell 1280X Laptop Display Panel; 0; 31.5-90.0; 60.0; 1 to: Dell; Dell 1280X Laptop Display Panel; 0; 31.5-90.0; 59.0-85.0; 1 work? fixed in 4.9.15 and later. |
