Adding language modules is currently very difficult to do. This is because the translations for each package are contained inside the RPMs for those packages, so to add a language to a system would require pulling the translations out of each RPM. Basically, the question is how to install parts of an RPM that is already installed on the system This really seems more of an RPM issue to me, so I'm changing the component to RPM to see what jbj says about it. Language selection in anaconda has recently changed. You can install language groups using yum groupinstall post install. Please test FC4 language selection and customisation using /etc/sysconfig/i18n |
