Description liz.meiburg 2000-01-11 15:15:24 UTC
I'm not sure how much of this is operator error and how much is bug. I
recently upgraded to RedHat 6.1, then found the patch to Netscape 4.7. Now
when I start up Netscape from the command line I see the following error
twice:

libm.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

When I add the /usr/i486-linux-libc5/lib directory to my LD_LIBRARY_PATH
netscape gives me a "bus error" instead. What have I done wrong?

Removed the real audio plugin from the plugins directory and the error
went away. It appears that the RealPlayer 5.0 is not compatible with RedHat
6.1/Linux 2.2.
