Comment 12 leigh scott 2013-08-23 15:43:36 UTC
You need to delete all extra keyboard layouts for now.

more than one keyboard layout = instant crash.

Comment 13 rwobben 2013-08-23 16:04:17 UTC
oke, How can I delete all keyboard layouts except the US international.

Comment 14 leigh scott 2013-08-23 16:34:11 UTC
Use this command or navigate cinnamon-settings

cinnamon-settings region

and remove the extra layouts.

Comment 15 rwobben 2013-08-23 17:33:07 UTC
Thanks, I have a working Cinnamon again.

Comment 16 leigh scott 2013-08-23 17:40:07 UTC
You might want to block any cinnamon-settings-daemon updates as the latest version is broken by gnome-desktop3 changes.
This will be fixed after I package cinnamon-desktop (still to be created).

https://github.com/mtwebster/cinnamon-desktop

forking isn't complete yet.

Comment 17 rwobben 2013-08-23 18:23:57 UTC
oke, I will try to figure out how to block updates. I have a lot to learn.
Maybe in the future I can help with packaging or testing.

Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. If you
are unable to reopen this bug, please file a new report against the
