updating is not yet possible.
This pyproj version depends on file geodesic.h which was only added to the proj4 svn after the 4.8.0 release (which still is the most recent available one, see https://trac.osgeo.org/proj/).
We have to wait for an updated version of proj4 before pyproj can be updated.

Looking at ftp://ftp.remotesensing.org/proj/ a beta version of 4.9.0 is available.
