 Login layer does not appear in IE8

1. open IP:7080 in IE8
2.

Actual results:
redirected to IP:7080/coregui
login layer not loaded

Expected results:
login layer loaded

This works fine for me with IE8 on Windows XP (see attachment). Perhaps the GWT was not compiled for ie8 browser?

My GWT .m2/settings.xml are:
<gwt.userAgent>ie8,ie9,gecko1_8,safari</gwt.userAgent>

Probably needs more testing just to confirm this. I can check from my Windows XP browser as well, if we get a server up that shows this problem.

I was able to confirm that the server: http://10.16.23.221:7080/coregui/#Dashboards
was compiled only for Firefox.
