Description of problem:
When I am playing mp3 files in xmms and doing something else such as browsing
the web the sound files skip when i load a new web page or enter data into a
form. I'm using the oss sound system and the following sound modules:

emu10k1                69256   2

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Play a music file in xmms
2.Browse the web
3.
    

Actual Results:  The music would skip after i loaded a page

Expected Results:  The music should have kept on playing

This is a kernel scheduling issue.

I see the same issue with playing ogg files.  The latency is much worse than the
RHL 9 kernel.  Resizing a window brings XMMS to a halt for about three seconds
or until the resizing is finished, whichever comes first.
