Hello Len,

I have been installing SOA 6.0 ER2 ontop of EAP 6.1 but am unable to reproduce your experience.

First I tried with

java -version
java version "1.7.0_09-icedtea"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (rhel-2.3.4.1.el6_3-x86_64)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.2-b09, mixed mode)
(With relates the bug below)
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=994682

Then also tried with
java -version
java version "1.7.0_25"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (rhel-2.3.10.4.el6_4-x86_64)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.7-b01, mixed mode)

Other information on the machine
uname -a
Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.32-358.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Jan 29 11:47:41 EST 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

cat /etc/redhat-release

Comment 8 Jiri Pechanec 2013-09-20 13:59:42 UTC
The issue is visible when installing to a directory that contains file named jboss-eap-6.1.1.zip

Comment 9 Thomas Hauser 2013-09-20 14:33:45 UTC
The new See Also bug contains the root cause. The resolution to that bug should also resolve this bug.

Comment 10 Thomas Hauser 2013-09-20 19:33:02 UTC
The newest build resolves this issue.

Comment 11 Len DiMaggio 2013-09-23 16:07:47 UTC
Verified fixed in ER3 (Sept 20 repin)
