I have looked over the material on interceptor logic in the JBoss EAP Security Guide but I don't know (a) if it's still current, (b) if it adequately explains the topic. Your advice would be appreciated.

According to comment 2 from Anil, it's been confirmed that the information originally requested in this BZ ticket is in fact no longer required. I have therefore closed this ticket with the resolution "Not a bug".
