Description Jan Hutař 2013-09-11 12:21:29 UTC
Description of problem:
I have configured ISS between 2 satellites and although I see custom channel, I do not see Red Hat channel.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
spacewalk-backend-server-2.0.3-14.el6sat.noarch

How reproducible:
always (?)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Master satellite:
Admin -> ISS Configuration -> Master Setup
     slave: <slave_fqdn>
       Allow Slave to Sync? check
Sync All Orgs to Slave? check
Allow Export of the Selected Organizations: all checked
2. Slave satellite:
Admin -> ISS Configuration -> Slave Setup
     master: <master_fqdn>
       Default Master? not checked
Filename of this Master's CA Certificate <path_to_ca_cert>
Configure Master-to-Slave Org Mappings for <master_fqdn>
all orgs matched (only one in mine case)
3. Sync rhel-x86_64-server-5 and rhel-x86_64-server-dts-5 channel from hosted
   to Master
4. From Slave I was able to satellite-sync custom channel created on Master
5. From Slave attempt to list all channels on Master

Actual results:
Only custom channel is listed

Expected results:
Both custom channel and Red Hat channels are listed.

Comment 2 Jan Hutař 2013-09-11 12:28:25 UTC
When I use rhn-satellite-exporter on Master to export these Red Hat base channels (even with "--all-orgs"), transfer the dump to Slave and there list it (even with "--master=<master_fqdn>"), it works as expected.
