Thanks for a bug report. I see from the val_log_messages that this crashed due to a memory corruption. By any chance, do you have any steps to be able to reproduce this, please? Or at least some hints what was happening before the crash? I suppose, as this is an alarm notification process, you most likely received a notification for some upcoming event, and this either crashed when this was going to show itself to you, or you dismissed the notification, or something like that?

Comment 12 markus.comperini 2013-09-13 21:22:46 UTC
Hello,
I had an appointment, which was shown by the evolution-package.
I opened this message, set the appointment to ignore and close it.
Then it crashed.

Comment 13 Milan Crha 2013-09-16 06:54:18 UTC
Thanks for the update. It sounds like a usual work with the alarm notifications. Were you able to reproduce this with any other meeting notification? Also, do you remember what appointment event was in the dialog? Maybe its content will help to reproduce the crash.

Comment 14 markus.comperini 2013-09-16 08:57:54 UTC
Hello,
I am sorry, but I can't reproduce this crash with any other notification?

Comment 15 Milan Crha 2013-09-17 05:59:51 UTC
Thanks for the update. That's OK, I know such memory corruption bugs are pretty hard to reproduce consistently. Let me close this bug for now, but keep watching for any duplicates.
