Description of problem:
On current Fedora, the primary source of logs is the journal. It provides more information and better filtering than the traditional syslog text files. If the user uninstalls rsyslog (which is not mandatory anymore), gnome-system-log becomes almost useless, just showing some cron logs, and missing all the important stuff.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gnome-system-log-3.9.90-1.fc21.x86_64
