This message is a notice that Fedora 19 is now at end of life. Fedora has stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 19. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '19'. Created attachment 800237 [details] Example result of pkcon search Description of problem: When searching for a term (for example "boot") pkcon will list all packages that are related to that word, however, only the packages that have that term as part of their name will show as 'Installed' while the rest will show as 'Available' even if they are installed. In the attached file I searched for "boot" and only "efibootmgr" is listed as installed, while "kdm", "gruppy" and "cheese" are not but I do have them installed. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): PackageKit-0.8.9-6.fc19.x86_64 How reproducible: Use pkcon to search or other packages that uses PackageKit as backend like "Apper" Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use pkcon to search for a word that matches a description of a package but is not in that package's name. 2. 3. Actual results: Installed packages that have the searched term in their names will show as installed, while other installed packages will appear as if they were not installed. Expected results: All installed packages matching the search term or not should show as installed. Additional info:
