Description Germano Massullo 2013-09-22 10:32:28 UTC
Description of problem:
After having upgraded KDE from 4.10 to 4.11, Oxygen applications theme disappeared. Going into KDE system settings->applications aspect (first icon upper left, I use KDE in Italian), I can see CDE theme as active, and no Oxygen entry in the menu.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
KDE 4.11.1

$ rpm -qa oxygen*
oxygen-gtk-1.2.0-4.fc19.noarch
oxygen-gtk3-1.2.0-1.fc19.x86_64
oxygen-gtk2-1.4.0-1.fc19.x86_64
oxygen-icon-theme-4.11.1-1.fc19.noarch

Comment 2 Rex Dieter 2013-09-22 12:05:01 UTC
This sometimes happens when ~/.config/Trolltech.conf

gets corrupted
[Qt%20Plugin%20Cache%204.8.false]
or
[Qt%20Factory%20Cache%204.8]
group values

Try removing or renaming ~/.config/Trolltech.conf to see if that helps.

Comment 3 Germano Massullo 2013-09-22 13:03:56 UTC
Yes, removing ~/.config/Trolltech.conf fixed the trouble.
What can cause Trolltech.conf corruption?

No idea yet, it's rare enough to not fall on upstream radar.
