Description of problem:
Time zone of evolution is that of the system. It would be nice if
appointments could be entered and updated using a different time zone. For example, North Americans travelling around the world would be to get an alert when buisnesses in North America open.

Thanks for a bug report. This is in an Appointment/Meeting editor, when you click View->Time zone menu item, then the editor will show an entry where you can change timezone for the start and end times.
