Description of problem:
When I have the settings of "-vga qxl -device qxl -device qxl" in the virt-viewer menu, I have "Display" 1-4 in the View -> Displays showing and I can choose "Display 4" as a valid display option, when in fact, I should only have 3 displays. When I change the settings to "-vga qxl -device qxl" I get the appropriate number of displays in the virt-viewer menu.

You mean that you configure the guest with only 3 video devices, but there are 4 displays in the menu list, right?
But I can not reproduce the bug with:
virt-viewer-0.5.6-7.el6.x86_64 or virt-viewer-0.5.6-8.el6.x86_64
Steps:
1. Install a win7 guest with spice+qxl+spicevmc
2. Configure the guest with 3 qxl video device.
3. # virt-viewer win7, check the menu list View-> Display
Result:
There is noly 3 displays.
CongDong, there are multiple bugs open on multi-monitor. A co-worker in Westford also sees this behavior. I will verify this once it is "ON_QA."
