Description Markus Mayer 2013-09-28 10:37:03 UTC
Description of problem:
gnome-software uses the same name and icon as gpk-application.

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on "activities"
2. Type in "software"

Actual results:
There are two identical applications called "Software" with the same icon.

Expected results:
gnome-software should be distinguishable from gpk-application within the gnome-shell overview.

Comment 1 Ryan Lerch 2013-10-02 17:03:23 UTC
as of gnome-software-3.10.0-1.fc20
there is now a new icon for gnome-software.

also, on my system, gpk-application is presented in the overview as "packages" rather than "software".

so this issue is now fixed!

cheers,
