That will be done once we update Babel to 1.x (which I'm planning to do in the next 1-2 weeks if no one else is faster than me on that). For people who may run across this via web searches (I note that this is going to be accomplished via an update to a newer upstream babel so it shouldn't be applicable here): Note: do not follow this portion of the advice as it is against the Packaging Guidelines: "When upstream is dead or unwilling to support Python 3, you'll need to patch this package on Fedora level. Try to avoid this as much as you can, but use it, if it's the last option." If you are in this situation, you'll essentially be forking upstream in order to produce a python3 port. In that situation, the proper thing to do is to create a new package with the python3 port. It would be even better to create the proper upstream infrastructure as well (new upstream scm and issue tracker) but that isn't 100% required by the guidelines. babel-1.3-2.fc20 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 20. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/babel-1.3-2.fc20 Package babel-1.3-2.fc20: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 20 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing babel-1.3-2.fc20' as soon as you are able to. Please go to the following url: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2013-18438/babel-1.3-2.fc20 then log in and leave karma (feedback). babel-1.3-2.fc20 has been pushed to the Fedora 20 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. |
