Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem persists. The Fedora Legacy project (http://fedoralegacy.org/) maintains some older releases, and if you believe this bug is interesting to them, please report the problem in the bug tracker at: http://bugzilla.fedora.us/ |
Description of problem: Log fills with "... kernel: Warning kfree_skb on hard IRQ f8c95b31" and eventually (within around 10 to 14 hours) crashes the kernel. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Using Red Hat 9.0 Pro, kernel 2.4.20-19.9 (SMP) How reproducible: Use Edgeport/4 USB serial converter to communicate with any serial device (eg modems). Steps to Reproduce: 1. Communicate via USB serial port, eg use minicom or dial isp via /dev/ttyUSB0 2. 3. Actual results: /var/log/messages fills with "... kernel: Warning: kfree_skb on hard IRQ f8c95b31" Eventualy the kernel crashes. Expected results: Use device with crashing kernel! Additional info: Need this adapter working ASAP!
