Now a separate check-box has been added for delete permission. If a user wants to delete a volume he must be given this permission. Verified as fixed in Red Hat Storage Console Version: 2.1.2-0.22.master.el6_4. A checkbox is seen with the delete volume permission under 'Configure Volumes'. When a user is provided this permission, the user can delete a volume. Please review the edited DocText and signoff. (In reply to Shalaka from comment #4) > Please review the edited DocText and signoff. It would be better to remove "all permission", as user with all permission will have manipulate permission also. So it would be more apt to have doc_text as follows: Previously, users with volume manipulate permission were unable to delete a volume. Now, with this update, a check-box is added for delete permission under Volume category to provide the volume deletion permission.
