This is an issue in the Fedora rubygem-ruby-libvirt package, which is the upstream for the package we ship: http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/rubygem-ruby-libvirt.git/tree/rubygem-ruby-libvirt.spec#n14 The auto-requires from rpmbuild seems to correctly add libvirt.so.0 as a dependency though, which then resolves against libvirt-client, so the daemon doesn't get installed. I think it's just that one require causing it. Filed bug #1015529 against Fedora. ruby193-rubygem-ruby-libvirt-0.4.0-9.el6 upstream fixes this, please pull a8775ef7a267fc1a2843a6738ab2f0d8c36611b0 from thirdparty master.
