Description of problem:
gnome-shell eats a lot of mem

How reproducible:
once on my laptop

Steps to Reproduce:
1. lenovo t61 with 3G mem
2. install f19 in default configuration and see 
3. top
4. 
  
Actual results:
top - 15:59:54 up 22 min,  4 users,  load average: 1.80, 3.16, 2.88
Tasks: 130 total,   4 running, 126 sleeping,   0 stopped,   0 zombie

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 20 development cycle.
Changing version to '20'.

t61 with 3gb mem:
rhel6 in default configuration => it works really nice
rhel7 in default configuration => no mem available, its lagging, unusable.

can you reproduce using current rhel7 version? gnome-shell-3.8.4-5.el7.x86_64

I am not seeing this now (g-s eating terrible 400MB)

Hm, I am trying the same with the latest release of rhel7 and now its seems to be OK.

So I am sorry for making mess
