Description Eryu Guan 2013-10-08 11:00:51 UTC
Description of problem:
man 8 btrfs has several problems about "filesystem label" description
1. - the maximum allowable length shall be less or equal than 256 chars
Actually the maximum allowable length should be less than 256 chars, not equal

2. - the label shall not contain the '/' or '\' characters.
'/' and '\' are all valid chars in label

3. - the filesystem should not have more than one device.
This is not true anymore, label works correctly on multi-device btrfs

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
btrfs-progs-0.20.rc1.20130917git194aa4a-1.el7
upstream btrfs-progs too

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. man 8 btrfs and check descriptions about "filesystem label"
2.
3.

Actual results:

Expected results:
