This is a limitation of our build tool chain (Publican). I've used several e-paper readers (Kindle and the Sony eReader) and haven't had problems using epub. What guide are you having problems with and what reader are you using? I'm assuming this is what fb2 is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FictionBook I have used PocketBook and Digma s605t. PocketBook can work with epub, but sometimes not correct and loads pages very long time. Digma tries to open and goes to reboot. EPUB performance is vastly improved in the forthcoming Publican 4.0. We might consider fb2 as an extra output format in future. That is good! :) We don't have the resources to do this, so I'm closing the bug. Patches gratefully accepted though! |
