Description David Jones 2013-10-11 03:44:14 UTC
Description of problem:
After upgrading from cups 1.6.2 to 1.6.3, I can no longer print over network to USB printer on Fedora 19 server. I can print from the server's web interface just fine. Tried it from both Fedora 19 and Archlinux clients. Downgrading to cups 1.6.2 fixed the problem on both clients. Version on server is still 1.6.3. Printer is Samsung 4623f, using splix driver.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
cups 1.6.3

How reproducible:
Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Print test page, or from any application.
2.
3.

Actual results:
Printer doesn't respond for cups 1.6.3.

Expected results:
Printer prints document.

Additional info:
Downgrading to cups 1.6.2 on two distros fixes problem. /var/log/messages on server shows print request was received, but messages are the same as for sucessful print jobs.
