OK, maybe updating to a newer version is not possible. What about applying the patch that fixes the issue from the CPAN ticket? https://github.com/gisle/html-parser/commit/a8f82837f7d1aae1aca24250b13814fef062ea33 That would also work fro F18 I guess... perl-HTML-Parser-3.71-1.fc19 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 19. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/perl-HTML-Parser-3.71-1.fc19 perl-HTML-Parser-3.71-1.fc18 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 18. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/perl-HTML-Parser-3.71-1.fc18 Package perl-HTML-Parser-3.71-1.fc19: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 19 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing perl-HTML-Parser-3.71-1.fc19' as soon as you are able to. Please go to the following url: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2013-19355/perl-HTML-Parser-3.71-1.fc19 then log in and leave karma (feedback). The update fixes the issue for me. Put my +1 Karma on bodhi for the F19 package. perl-HTML-Parser-3.71-1.fc18 has been pushed to the Fedora 18 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. perl-HTML-Parser-3.71-1.fc19 has been pushed to the Fedora 19 stable repository.
